SUPER BOWL CRAFT & GAME IDEAS

FREE PRINTABLE SUPER BOWL SQUARES (FOOTBALL POOL)!!!

Just a little side note: If you don't already know what a football pool (or football squares) is, it's a form of gambling on the results

of football games, the winners receiving amounts accumulated from entry money.

Even if your Super Bowl party guests don't understand football, this game is sure to get them interested.

Trust me, guaranteed, they will be paying more attention to the game if they know there is something

that will benefit them.  They can win money, and that's great of course, but they're going to have fun

watching the game and talking about it with everyone at the party.

The above are printable forms - one for the Super Bowl squares game instructions; the other, the Super

 Bowl squares/
pool game.  Feel free to print them off to use for your Super Bowl party.

Stephanie Lynn shares her creative Super Bowl craft idea that's fun for both kids and adults.  She uses recycled plastic water bottles, white rice, beans, food colouring, some labels and hot glue.  Put it all together and what do ya got - Game Day Noisemakers!!!  What a blast!  And she uses them for Fourth of July too.

Have your kids help decorate by giving them a fun project like making fun football labels for juice boxes, milk cartons, or water bottles.  All you need is brown and white construction paper, glue, tape, and scissors.

Here's a fun activity: FIKI football.  Also known as finger, flick or tabletop football, this game consists of a paper football and craft stick field goal - the kids will enjoy making this craft as they can create it and then play with it.  All they need are craft/popsicle sticks, brown construction paper, Liquid Paper/White-Out, yellow paint, paintbrush, glue, tape, and scissors.  When the craft is ready, have the kids flick the football between the posts.

Have the kids make Super Bowl team football flags and jerseys made out of felt or card stock.  They can hand a flag to each of the guests and make a banner from the jerseys.

Create a playbook with assorted activities for the kids.  All you need is a clipboard, some black cardstock, coloured cardstock, white chalk ink, and white pencil crayon.  Fill the clipboard with games such as tic-tac-toe, colouring pages, craft ideas, game instructions, etc.

I bought paper lanterns last year, but check out this
faux paper version, they are pretty cool.  You can make football lanterns, as well as ones the colours of the teams competing.
